The Honorable John W. Moore, Mayor of Williams, Arizona, has been notified by the Office of the Arizona Secretary of State that he has submitted enough qualified signatures to appear on the ballot for the primary election to be held on August 2nd, 2022.
Mayor Moore is running as a Republican to represent the 2nd District of Arizona in the United States House of Representatives. Arizona’s 2nd Congressional District is geographically the largest, covering nearly half the state.
Moore is considered an early front runner in the crowded race to unseat the current office holder Representative Tom O’Halleran, a Democrat. The newly redrawn 2nd Congressional District likely favors a Republican candidate.
