STORM DROPS ABOUT AN INCH OF SNOW

The Williams area received about an inch of snow overnight, following a day of intermittent rain. No major road incidents were reported, with the exception of flooding along Interstate 40 east of Kingman and an accident on Interstate 40 also east of Kingman that may have been rain related and caused all westbound traffic to stop for several hours last night. The back-up stretched for more than 20 miles.

The Arizona Department of Transportation shows all roads in our area are currently open. Highway 64 received snowfall from Williams to Tusayan but remained passable.

The 7 day weather forecast shows several possibilities for more precipitation, with the highest chance on Tuesday.
