The National Weather Service has issued winter weather advisory is in effect for November 2-5. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches is forecast for Williams and Flagstaff, with 2 to 3 inches forecast for the Grand Canyon’s South Rim.
The heaviest snowfall is predicted to happen Thursday afternoon and evening. Temperatures are expected to be in the low 20s overnight on Thursday, and could dip to the teens Friday night. Winds are forecasted to be in the 40 to 50 MPH range at times.
Blowing snow could cause lowered visibility on roads in the region. Caution is advised while traveling during the snowfall.
