SNOW AND RAIN THIS WEEK INTO NEXT

A massive flow of moist air over the Pacific moving eastward is expected to drop significant rain and snow over Northern Arizona starting Tuesday night.

The National Weather Services Flagstaff office advises that “Winter Weather Advisories and Warnings have been hoisted across the mountainous regions of northern Arizona above 6,500 ft. The atmospheric river of moisture currently hitting the West Coast will move into Arizona later today and tonight bringing widespread rain and mountain snow.”

The Williams area is expected to get 2 to 3 inches of snow from the first wave of moisture hitting Tuesday night through Thursday morning.
