JULY 4th HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES AROUND WILLIAMS

The July 4th holiday period is one of the busiest times of the year in Williams, and this year will be no different. While the annual 4th of July parade along Route 66 and the fireworks show are a big draw, there are many great events around town. Here is a partial lists of things to do.

JULY 4th

11:30am The American Legion Cordova Post 13 is hosting a burger burn and horseshoe tournament. Sign up is 10 a.m. and the tournament will start by 11:30 a.m.

1-3pm Ice Cream Social at the Methodist Church. 127 W. Sherman Ave.

6pm July 4th Parade on Route 66 in Williams.

9pm Fireworks Show near the Rodeo Grounds. Visible from most of Williams.

JULY 5th to 7th

Team Roping at Rodeo Grounds. 5p-7p. 750 Airport Rd. Free to public!

JULY 6th

Grand Canyon Railway will run a steam engine to the Grand Canyon. View it departing at 9:30am and returning to the Depot in Williams in the afternoon.

2-5pm Tethered Hot Air Balloon Rides for a great view of Williams at 950 N. Grand Canyon Blvd. near the Rodeo Steakhouse (great place to eat) at the Ramada Inn. https://therodeosteakhouse.com Proceeds from the balloon rides will benefit Williams Area Habitat for Humanity.

2-5pm the 4th Annual Independence Day Craft Fair 301 W. Railroad Ave at the Shed. There will be food, face painting, a petting zoo, and other attractions at this event. Great fun for the kids!

1230-5pm Habitat for Humanity Grand Opry 200 W. Railroad Ave, next to the Williams Visitor Center. Live band, games and great food trucks!

7:30pm – 11:30pm KISS Tribute Band at the Sultana Bar, 301 Rt 66 in Williams.
