The next full Moon will be on Thursday morning, Oct. 17, 2024, at 7:26 a.m. EDT. It will be the largest super moon of the year and may an orange color.
The moon will be the “Hunters Moon” and will be the closest of the year at 220,000 miles from Earth.
This is the 3rd of 4 super moons of the year and will be visible as a full moon starting Thursday morning. According to NASA, it will be visible starting Tuesday evening and ending Friday morning.
