BITTER COLD EXPECTED TONIGHT!

While the last few days haven’t exactly been a tropical picnic, tonight is expected to bring even colder temperatures across northern Arizona.

Many areas saw sub zero temperatures Thursday evening, and even more could see them Friday night into Saturday morning. Temperatures should rise slightly in the following days but it will still be extremely cold.

The National Weather Service Flagstaff office is reminding residents and travelers to be prepared for extremely cold temperatures tonight and take necessary precautions.

Precautions include; bringing pets inside, protecting pipes, and covering vulnerable plants. If traveling by car be sure to have blankets and any items you may need to fend off the cold in case you become stranded.

If you find yourself in a potentially life threatening situation, call 911 immediately for help.
