A small van caught fire at the Love’s Truck Stop on Grand Canyon Blvd near Interstate 40 while fueling around 3:30 am Thursday morning.
Love’s employees grabbed fire extinguishers and kept the fire from spreading until the Williams Fire Department arrived.
The pump was damaged by the fire and the roof awning sustained some smoke and heat damage. Love’s expected to open most of the pump island area by morning.
The driver of the van was not injured. The cause of the fire was unknown at this time.
