According to the U.S. National Weather Service in Flagstaff, Northern Arizona could see the first monsoonal rain later this week.
The forecast call for possible thunderstorms and wind gusts over 40 MPH on Thursday and Friday. Dry lightening is also possible, increasing the risk of wildfires.
The potential for rain extends through the weekend.
