SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS PASS THROUGH OVERNIGHT

Rain and hail hit areas of Northern Arizona Thursday afternoon and into the night. Williams saw nearly half an inch of rain, heavy at times, in some parts as thunderstorms lit up the night skies up until about Midnight.

The National Weather Service is forecasting continued monsoonal thunderstorm activity with gusty winds for most of the next 10 days, and beyond.

Residents and visitors are reminded to watch for possible flash flooding and are advised to seek shelter immediately from any nearby lightening.
