Coconino County Deputies located the wreckage of a plane reported missing after it departed Sedona for the Grand Canyon. Deputies found the bodies of Timothy Michael Gill, 37, and Joylani Roseann Kamalu, 38, of Vista, California inside the plane.
A family member of one of the overdue parties reported that they had not reported for work as scheduled on April 18. The U.S. Air Force Civil Air Patrol was called to assist and determined that the last known direction and location of the aircraft was an area northeast of the Williams airport. A DPS helicopter located the aircraft near the Williams airport.
The FAA and the NTSB were notified of the crash .
